Choteau Dog Park Receives T-Mobile Hometown Grant for Small-Town Revitalization

KRTV: Grant Will Help Choteau Create a Dog Park

T-Mobile has invested $25 million in small-town revitalization projects over the next five years, and Choteau is among the recipients. The Choteau Community Dog Park will receive a grant of $39,140 from the telecommunications company. The park, located in southeast Choteau, will span 1.25 acres and include two separate fenced areas for big and little dogs, each with its own entrance. Polly Cunningham introduced the idea of creating a dog park after traveling through the West and noticing every town had one. The project was approved by the city council on June 7th, 2022. Fundraising for the park was led by the Friends of the Choteau Community Dog Park, a non-profit organization.

The Friends of the Choteau Dog Park welcome contributions, memorials, and sponsorships from the community to help cover these expenses and ensure the park remains in excellent condition.
