All the bright orange flags on our dog park site indicate that action will occur soon! Our slow, snowy April has delayed construction activity and created a logjam in the industry, so we just have to wait our turn.
The first step is laying the gravel pathways and the pergola pad. The gravel pile was frozen solid so we had to wait for thawing both above and below ground.
When the path is established, we will be placing our dog-friendly obstacles in the appropriate park – tree trunks, boulders, dirt piles, and posts.
Our date with Montana Fence is some time the week of May 15. When the fence is up, we will need volunteers to help put up our signs and bag dispensers around the parks. We will also be assembling our benches. Watch this site for further information!
