We are truly fortunate to have a safe, clean, and friendly place to let our dogs socialize and exercise, but we are counting on you to help us maintain a pleasant environment. Remember it is your responsibility to watch over your dog and prevent him/her from annoying others.

Rules

  • Use park at your own risk.
  • Owners are legally responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) at all times, including for any injury/damage caused by their dog(s.)
  • Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park.
  • Dogs must be off leash while in the park.
  • Dog waste must be cleaned up IMMEDIATELY (bags and garbage bins are provided in the park.
  • For the enjoyment of all, if your dog is behaving aggressively, please remove it promptly.
  • Fill in any holes your dog digs.
  • Owners must be within the dog park and actively supervising their dog with leash readily available.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times,
  • All dogs must be current with rabies vaccination.
  • Dogs that live within the city limits must have a current city pet license.

Please clean up after your own dog! It’s your “doodie.”

Prohibited in the dog park

  • Aggressive dogs
  • Dogs in heat
  • Sick dogs (contagious conditions/illnesses)
  • Puppies under 4 months old
  • Human and/or dog food or treats
  • Glass containers
  • Unsupervised or running children
  • Smoking
  • Spike or pinch/prong collars

All park users should be aware of the inherent risks when animals are grouped together and allowed to run freely. All users acknowledge and accept this risk.

*Dogs who come into contact with other dogs are at higher risk for contagious diseases and illnesses. Talk to your veterinarian about necessary vaccinations to keep your dogs healthy.
